It is saddening if we have to give back what has been entrusted to us. Today's parable narrates how the owner takes back the squandered vineyard to be leased to other tenants who would produce harvest. In the vineyard called life, we received talents and capabilities for us to bear fruits. If we don't, the same gifts will be demanded of us and entrusted to someone else. And we shall regret it. |
