Pope Francis once said, "The Church is not a museum of saints but a hospital for sinners." We may consider it a sweeping statement but we have to face this simple truth. Jesus says, In today's gospel, that he did come to call the sinners. The Church is composed of sinners who need spiritual healing. Albeit we are sinners, we should take comfort. It is for our sake that Christ came into the world. |
