Love and obedience are intertwined. Jesus himself said, "Whoever observes my commandments is the one who loves me." Love of God impels us to obey his precepts and ordinances. We can only say that we love God if we are ready to do his will. Otherwise, love is reduced to a mere concept devoid of true meaning. Without obedience to God, love becomes empty and meaningless. |
