Blood flows and overflows to give life. It's like the grain that dies to bear much fruits. St. Lawrence willingly embraced death in order to offer life for all especially the poor whom he loved so much. His death bore more fruits. People realized that the poor are the genuine treasures of the Church. The martyrdom of Lawrence was life-giving. Truly, the blood of the martyrs is the seed of Christianity. |
