A heavy thing to carry is grudge. But even heavier is the guilt about something our grudge has caused other people. That was the experience of Herod. He begrudged John's courage to combat evil and had him beheaded. His conscience was constantly bothering him. Never let anger or grudge punish us. It is torturing. It is tormenting. |
