Anything that is sugarcoated is deceiving. Apparently, the people were concerned about Jesus. In reality, they wanted to preserve their livelihood. Remember, they lost a swineherd because Jesus ordered the demons to enter upon the swine which were subsequently drowned. In dealing with others, are our intentions and actions sugarcoated? Let our behavior be motivated by truth and truth alone. |
