It is not wealth per se that hinders one's entry into heaven but the inordinate desire for and too much attachment to it. Jesus said that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom because of the young man's refusal to let go of his resources. You may be affluent but detached from riches. You, too, can enter heaven. What matters most is not the possession but man's disposition. |
