Out of place! That is how we describe people who are not "in." In the parable of today's gospel, a man was found to be out of place in a banquet because he came without the wedding garment. It was a big surprise for the host considering the fact that he himself has given everyone (for free) that particular nuptial garment. If God has given us grace to live a holy life, yet we persist in sin, we are truly out of place.
