Why do we have to whitewash our tombs? Perhaps, we want to appear good and, thereby, be acceptable to others. We have forgotten the fact that Jesus loves us for what and who we are. Even our weakness he can lovingly embrace. Why do we have to pretend? Why do we need to cover what is real? The tomb of our person is known to God. No need for a whitewashing. |
