"Get behind me, Satan!" Peter must have taken aback when Jesus spoke to him. Actually, those words were not addressed to Peter. They were directed to Satan himself. Jesus had the constant determination to combat Satan. He wanted to defeat the power of the Evil one. Which should be our goal, too. We should not be overcome by evil. We should overcome evil with good. |
