2 September: Bishop Mel Rey Uy of Lucena confirmed that the clergy reshuffle will push through next year. That is good for the Church. We, priests, will have a chance to meet other people and share with them the richness of the priesthood. In today's gospel, Jesus says he must go to other towns and proclaim the good news of the kingdom. People did not want him to leave them but he left, just the same. That was the life of Jesus. The life of priests, too. |
