"A priest is always wrong," writes Fr. J. Kaimlett. In today's gospel, both John the Baptist and Jesus were considered wrong. The former was accused of being demon-possessed while the latter drunkard and glutton. "Palagi na lang ba akong mali? Hindi naman nyo ako mahal!,"complains a son. The mother replied, "Hindi totoo yan. Nagkakamali ka!" to which the boy retorted, "Ayan, mali na naman!" Let's continue doing what is right no matter what people say... |
