Women are gifts. They conceive and give birth. God needed a woman to bear his Son. Mary is a gift to humanity. In today's gospel, Jesus recognized the role of women in his ministry. Great was Jesus' love for those women. He held them in deep esteem. The Church cannot be without women. They serve unconditionally. They show inspiring piety. Priests and men-workers in the Church should be grateful that there are women who are indispensable partners in the work of evangelization. |
