There are people who are disturbed and even saddened by the fortunes or blessings of others. In today's gospel, those who worked earlier were enraged in discovering that those who labored rather late received the same payment. This reflects our envious attitude when others are blessed. Lest we forget, we are all children of our Common Father. A brother's success is ours, too. |
