There is one angle unnoticed in today's gospel. While the focus is on Mary, let us reflect on the crowd that hindered the mother and brothers from seeing the Lord. Yes, we can be a hindrance at times. People may not progress because of us. They may not find happiness because we make life difficult for them. They may not know God because we show them the path to hell. Instead of being walls, we should be bridges. |
