14 March: We respect the varying opinions on the cancellation of Masses in light of the Covid-19. But we agree on that faith-filled conviction that we turn to God. The prodigal son, in today's gospel, realized that he had to go back to his father [albeit with just a desire to survive sans genuine repentance]. Yes, with all our fears, we go the house of the Father and find there a loving embrace that wipes away our anxieties and gives us security and peace. -- Msgr. Andro |
