13 March: We disrespect the Lord many times and in varied ways. In the parable of today's gospel which prefigures the fate of Jesus, the landowner said, "They will respect my son." This did not happen. The people did not respect Jesus. They killed him. When we sin, when we tarnish our body, when we do not love others, we disrespect Jesus. -- Msgr. Andro |
