"Tao muna!" The primacy of man has to be considered. Legalism made Jesus' adversaries react negatively when the Lord cured a woman on a Sabbath. They missed the point. They wanted to obey the Sabbath rule and ignore the woman in need. They have forgotten that the spirit of the law [which is love] should prevail. An old slogan still holds water today, "Higit sa lahat... tao." |
