Take the lowest place. The tendency of those who are below is to level up. Jesus' advice is reasonable. Those who take the lowest place in a party may be invited to get higher. Humility is a virtue that has a price. The humble shall be exalted. It is better to choose an insignificant place. The invitation to get higher is itself a reward. |
