One who is invited is never coerced. Freedom is always respected. It's up to the invited whether or not he/she would come. Today's gospel is about God's invitation. He invites everyone to his "party." Those invited are never constrained. That is why some made excuses [albeit some reasons were unacceptable] for not showing up. Truly God respects our freedom. He always will. |
