A rose, by any other name, is a rose. Even if we change its name, bribery is bribery. Today's gospel is an invitation to transform shrewdness into a Christian perspective. Be that as it may, we cannot do away with the reality of bribery which is evil per se. We can never tolerate this evil. It begins small and ends up as addiction. Let us decide not to bribe at all. The problem starts getting solved. A change gets started. |
