Is there something wrong with a marketplace? Why was Jesus enraged that the temple was turned into a place of selling and buying? What makes a business not pleasing? Here -- the market became an avenue of corruption. Exchange rate of money became exorbitant. Business gave bent to stealing and injustice. And all took place in the temple which was supposed to be a champion of charity, honesty and equality. Who would not be angry?
