We chuckle when we realize we actually have what we are looking for. It's like searching for a key which we already hold. In today's gospel, Jesus says the kingdom [in Greek "basileia" which means "reign"] is already in our midst. Yes, he reigns among us. His love, peace and joy are present in our hearts. Need more be asked? Nothing more! This one thing left to be done. Let's spread his kingdom. Let him rule in our lives. |
