Make this world a place better than when you first came into it. How? Make yourself a better person. How again? Enhance your capabilities. That, in a nutshell, is the challenge and message of the parable of today's gospel. The gold coins entrusted to the servants symbolize the talents they were gifted with. We, too, received such talents. We harness them, so, we could become better persons who make a better world. |
