How do I combat my being impatient? Simple -- I do something profitable when waiting. While on a queue, I use my cp to compose my fb daily homilies. The message of the gospel for Advent 1 is active waiting. As we await the Lord's coming or "adventus/ ad-venire," whose date is unknown, we keep ourselves busy with something worthwhile. We do the tasks entrusted us, ready to give an accounting when the Lord comes again. |
