I am not afraid because I am not alone. I am not alone because I have a neighbor. This neighbor "pitched a tent" next to mine. He dwells here, right here, so close to me. In simpler terms, that is the mystery of the Incarnation. The eternal Word entered time. He became flesh born of a virgin. The promised "Emmanuel" is now here. He is not nowhere. I have enough reasons to rejoice and greet you "A Hope-filled Christmas!" |
