Intercession is effective. Today's gospel shows us the efficacy of a plea expressed in behalf of another. The friends of the paralytic brought the latter to Jesus and kind of interceded for him. And presto, the sick man got healed. Many people come to us. They communicate even through the social media to make a prayer request. Let us not belittle the value of "mediation." A miracle can unfold if armed with faith, we bring to the Lord the "concern" of a brother. |
