Two different songs say the same thing, "Teach your children well." It behooves us to form the children according to the values of Jesus who once became a child. Today's feast of Sto. Nino is not only a historic date for the Phillipine church but a perennial call to all people of every race. Responding to the challenge of today's gospel, we imitate people who brought their children to Jesus that he might touch them. That's the best way to teach our children. Let them see and touch and know and love Jesus. |
