There is an appointed time for everything. Today's gospel which focuses on the Marcan theme of "Secret Messiahship" narrates how Jesus instructed the people not to make him known. It is not yet the proper time. We don't hurry up. Things can be accomplished in due time. We don't hold the "kairos" or the timing of God. We can only hope and pray that things will happen in God's own time. |
