The Angelic Doctor, St. Thomas Aquinas, whose feast day we celebrate today was a lamp shining brightly. His philosophical and theological acumen shaped greatly our educational venture. The proverbial lamp spoken of in today's gospel challenges us to let our light shine on the lives of other people. We may not be as wise as St. Thomas but we can strive to share his holiness. |
