Perhaps the Pharisees won't have difficulties with the pandemic protocols. Today's gospel says they always wash their hands. But Jesus would not be pleased with their hypocrisy. They are concerned only about the externals. Their hearts are far from God. It's good if we avoid the virus by washing our hands. It is better if we avoid the virus of sin by cleansing our hearts. |
