So great is the love of a mother. She would do everything for her child. Today's gospel bears testimony. The Syrophoenician woman "swallowed" her pride for the sake of her daughter. This gives us confidence in the maternal care of Mary. As we celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, let us renew our filial trust in her. She will do everything for us, her children. |
