I was a neophyte in the seminary when I heard from a brother-seminarian that the best prayer is when you submit to the will of God. That was the attitude of the leper who told Jesus, "If you wish, you can make me clean." And Jesus willed it. If,in praying, we surrender our desire to the Divine Will, most likely we will be at peace even in not obtaining it because we know that God's will has been done. |
