Forgiven to forgive. This is one of the many lessons of the Lord's prayer. We ask our Father to "forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." Certainly, we experience God's forgiveness. The question is: Are we ready to forgive those who have wronged us? If not, we cannot sincerely pray the "Our Father." This prayer tells us, "You are forgiven, learn to forgive." |
