"He ain't heavy. He's my brother," thus says a song. It is nice to reflect on the word "brother" which appears four times in today's gospel. We are all children of our Father, hence, we are all brothers. We don't insult a brother. We reconcile with a brother before bringing our gift to the altar, etc. Nothing stands on our way. Nothing is difficult or painful. He is not heavy. We carry him because he is a brother. |
