11 March: Division characterizes the devil's work. A kingdom divided is contrary to God's design. Jesus cannot be the source of division. In fact, he wished and prayed "that all may be one." A cardinal once said very emphatically that one of the worst sins is to destroy the unity of the priesthood and that of the Church. May we serve as a point of unity and not a cause of division. |
