You can call it prudence or proper discernment. You can call it what you want but it is the ability to act accordingly, avoiding harmful situations. That is how today's gospel narrates the reaction of Jesus when the people planned to kill him. He "no longer walked about in public among the Jews." Time and again, we are told what to do to be spared from covid-19. Awareness is one thing. Obedience is another. |
