Two words-- "bread" and "always." The followers of Jesus made a plea, "Give us this bread always." We need our daily bread for bodily sustenance. We need the heavenly bread for spiritual growth. The bread should be received not just once, not just several times but always. There is no single day that we can live without God's presence. We pray, "Lord, as you feed our bodies always, feed our souls endlessly. Live among us all the days...Amen." |
