Why do we have a "community pantry?" With the seemingly unending pandemic, many people go hungry and they need to be fed. Thanks to the generous givers, those who live a "hand-to-mouth" life have something to eat. Would that people were not selfish. Would that they get only what they need. Jesus, the Bread of Life, offers his very self. He chose to be a bread so that when we receive him, we learn the meaning of "selflessness." |
