6 May: We often ask -- When is joy complete? Is it when wealth is amassed and goal reached? Is it in the presence of a beloved? Today's gospel provides an answer. Complete joy is attained when we are connected with Jesus, when we remain [Greek "meno" which refers to a spiritual bond] in him. There is no greater joy than having Jesus. With him, life is full and joy complete. |
