How many FB friends do you have? Are they really your friends? What kind of friendship do they offer to you? Virtual? Digital? Today's gospel speaks of genuine friendship offered by no less than Jesus. He calls us friends, not slaves. What a privilege! How do we respond to him? We have to be loyal. We need to be faithful. These are the marks of true friendship. It endures. It lasts eternally. |
