Analogically we are like little holes incapable of containing the vast ocean of the mystery of God. Jesus says "I have much more to tell you but you cannot bear it now." We are too pretentious to believe that we are capacitated to take everything. We have forgotten that, with our human limitations, we cannot completely fathom the Divine mysteries. We are only beggars at the gate of God's wisdom. |
