Some people come to us as blessings. Others are lessons. But they are all gifts. In today's gospel, Jesus acknowledges his followers as his Father's gift. They were not all faithful. One betrayed him. One denied him. They turned traitors. But Jesus saw them as gifts. May we have the grace to accept all people and, no matter what, to consider them God's blessings worth thanking for. |
