Old photos were accompanied by dedications like this "Remember M, remember E. Put them together. Remember ME." The Old Testament is pregnant with admonitions to remember and never forget God's deeds. In today's gospel (Mk. 11) Peter "remembered" and this is connected with Mk. 8 which says, "Do you not remember?" Truly, we easily forget. Mary tells us we should always remember and give thanks. |
