The song "From this moment" of Shania Twain says "I give my hand to you will all my heart." I realized we can, in fact, give our hands without our hearts. But that is contrary to the message of today's gospel. The call to love God demands a complete response (with all our heart, soul etc). Handshake? Tap? Clap? These are meaningless without genuine love. Only meaningful with our hearts. |
