The ecclesial theme "Gifted to Give" is a clarion call. First, it invites us to be aware of our giftedness. The name "John" which comes from the Hebrew "Yohanan" means "gift." Truly John the Baptist was a gift to Zechariah and Elizabeth and to the People of God. We, too, are gifts to others. We have been gifted with life and faith. It's our mission to share these gifts to others. Yes, we are gifted to give. |
