Partnership is very important. Marriage is a partnership in covenantal love. Redemption was Jesus' work but Mary was a partner as she was an Associate. In today's gospel, partnership in mission is emphasized. Jesus sent his disciples two by two. They had to depend on each other. It is difficult to work alone. In our endeavors in society and in the Church, we need partners to accomplish our mission. |
