Bearing the cross is not easy. Being crucified is even more difficult. But that is the cost of discipleship. Today's gospel affirms that. He who does not take his cross is not worthy of Jesus. Our daily mission includes sharing the cross of Christ. That is our contant journey, the very way of Jesus, his via crucis. |
