To be childlike is all we need to discover the ways of God. It means being humble as an antidote to arrogance. It means acknowledging our powerlessness. The proud, full of "themselves" do not receive the gift of wisdom. The lowly who are open to the workings of God discover true knowledge. We will never know God unless we learn the art of stooping down. |
