One way to fight temptation is by staying away from it. He who avoids danger is spared. Jesus knew there were people who wanted to put him to death, so, he withdrew. In matters of the flesh, the one who withdraws is truly courageous. It is difficult to remain strong before carnal allurements. To avoid occasions of sin is the best way to remain in the state of grace. |
